ARKLinks specialises exclusively in Japanese sake priced ¥10,000 and above — curating private tasting experiences in Tokyo and connecting the world's finest sake to global luxury markets.
We work exclusively with sake priced ¥10,000+. No compromise on quality — ever.
The philosophy and time poured into every drop.
We film the full journey — from the rice farmer's field, through the brewery, to the finished bottle — and tell that story in English for a global audience. Tradition, terroir, rice, water, craft. Every element, told in a language the world can hear.

Request a visit →In a market full of compromise, we chose a different path: absolute focus on the ultra-premium tier, where the real story of Japanese sake lives.
We do not handle budget sake. Every bottle we work with is priced ¥10,000 or above — where craftsmanship, terroir, and the toji's obsession are actually reflected in the glass.
Japan's finest sake is largely unknown overseas — not because it's inferior, but because no one has told its story in English. We film, write, and publish that story for a global audience.
Our private tasting events are held at Tokyo's finest kaiseki and kappo restaurants. Maximum 6 guests. Never discounted, never mass-marketed. This is what luxury actually looks like.
10+ breweries visited in person. Trust built face-to-face, not via cold email. We sit with the toji, we understand the craft — and that relationship is what makes export possible.
Founded by a Waseda-educated, English-fluent corporate sales professional with 3+ years closing high-stakes deals. We understand what buyers need to hear — and how to say it.
Our model is designed to grow: domestic premium experiences fund the operation in year one, while export partnerships build the long-term business. Every step is intentional.
Our three-phase model is designed to build credibility before scale — and scale without compromise.
We visit breweries, film the full story — farmer, toji, bottle — and publish it in English on social media. This builds audience trust and gives breweries global visibility they cannot create themselves.
Private, invitation-only tasting events at Tokyo's finest restaurants. ¥30,000+ per person, maximum 6 guests. Designed to create the domestic network and proof of concept that makes global expansion credible.
Using the credibility built in phases 1 and 2, we connect partner breweries to premium buyers worldwide — luxury restaurants, five-star hotels, specialist importers in the US, Europe, and Asia.
We don't just make introductions. We stay as the ongoing bridge — managing relationships, supporting new markets, and ensuring the story never stops being told.
Tomoya Iwamae — Founder & CEO
I've always been drawn to the world beyond Japan's borders. That curiosity led me to study English at Waseda University, and later into the world of high-stakes corporate sales — presenting to C-suite executives at Japan's largest listed companies, closing deals that demanded both precision and trust.
After work, I found myself drawn to bars. Not just for the drinks, but for the conversations. It was there, glass in hand, that I started paying closer attention to Japanese sake — a drink unlike anything else in the world, born from Japanese water, rice, and generations of craft.
Nearly 70% of Japan's sake breweries are operating at a loss — not because their sake isn't extraordinary, but because the people behind it are artisans, not salespeople.
They've dedicated their lives to perfecting what's in the bottle. Getting it in front of the world? That's a different skill entirely. That's where I come in. A background in English, three years of corporate sales experience, and a genuine obsession with sake.
I started ARKLinks because I believe the world deserves to taste what Japan has been quietly perfecting for centuries — and because someone needed to tell that story in a language the world can hear.
